We’ve all had that dreaded moment when you board a flight, find your seat, and realise you're stuck next to someone you just know is going to make the journey unbearable. But what if that person was a celebrity?

We asked our Facebook community who they would least like to be seated next to on a long-haul flight, and after 200 comments, here are the most popular choices…

1. James Corden – 10.8%

Topping the list is James Corden, with over 10% of the votes. While some love his high-energy personality and comedy, others feel he can be a bit… much. Would he spend the entire flight trying to get you to sing along in an impromptu edition of Carpool Karaoke? Let’s hope not.

2. Katie Price – 8.8%

A close second, Katie Price (aka Jordan) is another celebrity our community would rather avoid at 30,000 feet. Known for her no-filter personality, loud voice, and constant media presence, some respondents believed she might be too much to handle in a confined space.

3. Amanda Holden – 8.4%

Despite her popularity on Britain’s Got Talent, Amanda Holden is the third celebrity people would least like to sit next to on a flight. There was a general sense among responders that she might be a little too chatty for comfort.

4. Donald Trump – 6.1%

Even though he’s not British, Donald Trump still made it onto the list. Love him or loathe him, there's no denying that being stuck next to him on a long-haul flight would be intense. For many, the thought of zero escape from an hours-long monologue was enough to land him on this list.

5. Keith Lemon – 3.9%

Keith Lemon (the alter ego of comedian Leigh Francis) has made a career out of being loud, crude, and in-your-face—which is exactly why many people don’t want to sit next to him on a flight. Would he calm down mid-flight? Probably not.

6. Keir Starmer – 3.4%

The Labour leader may not seem like the most obvious choice, but some felt that sitting next to Keir Starmer for hours would be a dull, uninspiring flight. On the plus side, at least you’d probably get some peace and quiet—unless he decided to talk through his party manifesto.

Final Thoughts

From over-the-top personalities to political figures, it’s clear that our community prefers a quiet and drama-free flight. James Corden topped the list, proving that while his humour works on TV, it might not translate well to an enclosed space at 30,000 feet.

Do you agree with the results? Or is there another celebrity you’d dread being stuck next to on a long flight? Let us know in the comments!
