Maybe consider a trip to Croatia this Easter and finally experience for yourself all of the beautiful scenery that you have probably heard and seen so much about. The country is filled with vast mountains, grand lakes and some incredible cities to be explored. Visit Dubrovnik on the coast for not only some beach fun but also for an unforgettable experience in a UNESCO World Heritage site. Split is also hugely popular with us Brits and it is certainly worth exploring some of the old Roman sites around the city as well as checking out some of its famous coves down by the sea.
With the kids off school for a longer period, there is perhaps no better time to finally book that long-haul holiday you have been planning during the Easter period and we have some juicy destinations for you to sink your teeth into. The Caribbean has a beautiful climate at this time of year and there are a host of exotic islands for you to take advantage of such as Barbados, St Kitts and Cuba. If you fancy a visit to the other side of the world instead, China is an up and coming destination or you can splash out on a bit of luxury in Dubai.
Easter is the time of year for city breaks. As briefly mentioned in the introduction, the climate around the whole of Europe at this time of year is extremely pleasant. This means that you aren’t going to be freezing to death trying to see sights in the east of Europe like you might in winter or dripping wet with sweat as you might when you visit the south of France in summer. You can take everything at your own pace and see all of the sights in their full glory. Krakow in Poland, Budapest in Hungary and Berlin in Germany are our favourite picks for this time of year.
