Welcome to kids’ paradise! Or as it is locally known, Algonquin’s Explorers Hotel. There is so much for your little ones to get stuck into with an incredible water playground, a fitness suite containing child-size equipment and an XD cinema with its own interactive chairs which will make you feel like you are part of the movie! The Explorers Hotel is situated more or less in the mix with all of the other hotels on this list, being just a 10 minute car or free shuttle ride from all of the parks.

Once your kids have worn themselves out with all of the playing and exploring opportunities on offer in the hotel, this place sure isn’t short on places to get them (and you!) refuelled again. There are 6 world-class bars, eateries and cafes at this resort but some of our favourites include: The Captain’s Library which is the ideal spot for having a cosy meal with the family after a day at the parks. Plantation Buffet offers a great choice for those with a big appetite; an all-you-can-eat buffet with a vast selection of intercontinental foods and tastes. Finally Point Gourmand where you can find crepes, cookies, cakes and other sweet snacks if you really want to treat yourself! Oh, and did we mention that a continental breakfast every morning is included with the price of your room? Now that’s a deal.

Aside from the unique XD cinema and kids fitness centre, you will also discover indoor and outdoor pirate ship playgrounds and a play area with a ball pit. There is no way your kids can possibly ever get bored at this place!
