Where To Go On Holiday from 15th December 2020

 

15^th December is the date UK holidaymakers, travel agents & tour operators alike have been waiting for since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. This is the date which you can now visit non-Travel Corridor destinations with the option of quarantining for 14 days or take a Covid test after 5 days to end your self-isolation early called Test to Release. So now the UK Government has introduced this option, which countries can you visit with minimal restrictions?

Firstly, the Travel Corridor destinations that require no quarantine or test on return to the UK currently include the Greek Islands of Corfu, Crete, Kos, Rhodes & Zante. Traditionally summer destinations, flights have been made available from March 2021 although Rhodes & Crete have availability throughout this winter for a late escape. The Portuguese island of Madeira is also a great winter getaway for a more laidback holiday with no quarantine.

At the time of collating this information, we are predicting that Spain, France & Belgium maybe added to the Travel Corridor over the next week or two following their respective positive case rates decreasing. Watch this space!

Now, for holiday destinations that currently do not feature on the Travel Corridor, which you could consider travelling to this winter without overseas restrictions of quarantine or closed borders, would include popular hotspots of the Canary Islands (excluding Tenerife between 19th December 2020 to 2nd January 2021), Spain & the Balearic Islands, France, Portugal, Turkey, Bulgaria, Egypt & Dominican Republic. Holiday offers are available now to these destinations.
